Anambra State House of Assembly has fixed Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8, 2026 as dates for the screening of Governor Charles Soludo’s first batch of 18 commissioner nominees.
This was contained in a release from the House and signed by the Clerk, Mr. Anthony Ughenu.
It was stated in the release that following the forwarding of the first batch of list of Commissioner Nominees by Governor, Charles Soludo to the Anambra State House of Assembly for confirmation, the House led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze in exercise of its Constitutional duties enshrined in Section 192(2) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended, hereby invites all Nominees to appear before the Screening Committee of the House on Thursday and Friday, 7 and 8 May 2026.
According to the release, those to appear on the batch A list on Thursday, May 7 are, Hon. Eddy Ibuzo, Prof. Offornze Amucheazi, Dr. BenChuks Odoemena, Mr. Chukwukadibia Okoye, Barr. Vin Ezeaka, Dr. Clem Aguiyi, Mr. Udeoji Amedu, Arch. Okey Ezeobi.

While the second batch screening taking place on Friday, May 8 consists of Dr. Afam Obidike, Dr. Law Mefor, Dr. Ekene Ogugua, Barr. Chijioke Oseloka Ojukwu, Engr. Casmir Chinenye Agummadu, Prof. Charles Ofoegbu, Mrs. Esther Chinyere Onyekesi, Mr. Patrick Aghamba.
Venue for the 2-Day screening will be the Mr. Speaker’s Conference Hall, House of Assembly Complex and at 11:00 am.
The release also stated that the Commissioner Nominees are to come with: 15 copies of their Academic credentials, 15 copies of their Curriculum Vitae and a copy each of Code of Conduct Form.
