The Mayor of Onitsha North LGA, Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, has inspected the ongoing construction work at Ogboli Road in Inland Town, Onitsha, where the Anambra State Government is delivering new infrastructure.
During the inspection, Mayor Nwora commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for prioritizing road projects in the area and urged residents to cooperate with the contractor to ensure quality delivery, noting that drainage systems will be built on both sides of the road to ease flooding and appealed to shop owners to clear obstructions on the right of way.
Residents along Ogboli Road expressed excitement about the project, describing it as a welcome development for the community.
The Mayor was accompanied by key cabinet members, including his Chief of Staff, Hon. Tagbo Emodi, and Supervisory Councillor for Environment, Hon. Mrs. Ngozika Ezediniru (Madam Black), among others.
