A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto, has called on party executives in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ibeto made the call on October 23, when he hosted the 21 local government and ward executives of the party at Enem Hall, Otolo, Nnewi.
The meeting was organised to strengthen the party’s structures, promote unity among its members and mobilise support for APGA candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at the gathering, the APGA Chairman in Nnewi North, Hon. Tony Muodielo, urged party leaders to remain united and committed to their responsibilities to secure victory for the party at all levels.
Muodielo maintained that APGA remained the party of Ndi Anambra, stressing that electoral success depended on effective mobilisation and strong support at the ward level.
In his remarks, Ibeto commended the executives for their dedication to the party and urged them to extend APGA’s message to every polling unit, kindred and household across the ten political wards in Nnewi North.
He emphasised the importance of sustained engagement with residents and party supporters to strengthen APGA’s presence at the grassroots ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Those present at the meeting included Ebuka Ileka, APGA’s candidate for the Nnewi North Constituency seat in the Anambra State House of Assembly; Hon. Pat Ubajaka; state executives of the party; and Hon. Chijioke Nwizuigbe.
Others were serving councillors, Hon. Emeka Okafor, Secretary to the Nnewi North Local Government, coordinators of various candidates, ward chairmen and other party stakeholders.
