The President of Ifitedunu Town Union (Women Wing), Lagos Branch, Mrs. Nkiruka Ilouno, has commended the administration of Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, describing it as “progress driven by purpose”.
In an interview on Sunday, Mrs. Ilouno said that Governor Soludo’s leadership combines intellectual depth with strategic vision, noting that his administration has remained committed to transforming and developing Anambra State.
She observed that the governor’s first tenure recorded significant achievements across various sectors, adding that his policies continue to deliver meaningful impact to residents of the state.
Speaking on youth empowerment, Mrs. Ilouno highlighted the “1 Youth, 2 Skills Programme” as a major initiative aimed at reducing unemployment and stimulating industrial growth among young people in Anambra.
She also praised the governor’s education reforms, particularly the free education policy, describing it as not only a financial relief for families but also a bold affirmation that every Anambra child deserves access to quality education regardless of economic background.
The president appealed that further reforms should focus on teacher training, digital literacy, and the expansion of technical and vocational education to better align classroom learning with employability.
Mrs. Ilouno further applauded the administration’s achievements in healthcare, security, governance, urban renewal, and infrastructure development across the state.
She expressed hope for increased rural development initiatives and prayed for the continued industrialization and economic advancement of Anambra State.
