The Women Initiative for Greater Anambra (WIGA), popularly known as “Umu Nwanyi Soludo,” has pledged its unwavering support for the administration of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, while congratulating him on his successful swearing-in for a second term in office.
The Co-ordinator of WIGA in Onitsha South Local Government Area, Mrs. Ngozi Nwosu, made this known in an interview with information officers in Onitsha.
Mrs. Nwosu said that Governor Soludo has largely fulfilled his campaign promises during his first term and is well-positioned to consolidate on his developmental strides in the coming years.
“On behalf of WIGA, Umu Nwanyi Soludo, I wish to congratulate our amiable governor on his inauguration for a second tenure. I also want to use this opportunity to commend him for the good work he has been doing in the state,” she said.
The woman leader added that the governor has demonstrated that Anambra State can achieve all-round development with the resources available to it.
According to her, Prof. Soludo has judiciously applied the wisdom bestowed on him to record visible milestones across various sectors, thereby repositioning Anambra as the Light of the Nation.
She prayed for God to grant him strength and wisdom to accomplish even more during his second tenure and urged Ndi Anambra to continue supporting his administration toward achieving a greater Anambra.
