Hon. Evang. Chidiebere Umechukwu has on Sept. 4, received his Certificate of Return, formally confirming his re-election as Councillor representing Ward 1, Okpoko, in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Speaking after receiving the certificate, Hon. Umechukwu expressed gratitude to God, his supporters and members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for their support throughout the electoral process.
He described the occasion as a collective victory for the APGA family, acknowledging the contributions of party members, supporters and well-wishers who, according to him, played significant roles in securing his renewed mandate.
The returning councillor said his re-election represented not only a vote of confidence from the people of Ward 1 but also a renewed call to service, promising to approach the responsibility with dedication and humility.
Hon. Umechukwu pledged to continue working towards improving the welfare of residents and advancing the development and interests of the ward.
He assured his constituents that he would remain accessible, responsive and committed to effective representation, adding that he would work to justify the confidence they had reposed in him.
He also expressed appreciation to everyone who contributed to his political journey, while assuring the people of Okpoko Ward 1 of his commitment to continuity, inclusive representation and people-oriented service.
