The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Abuja, in collaboration with the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), Awka, is set to officially flag off the distribution of learning materials to basic education schools across Anambra State.
The ceremony, scheduled for May 25, at the ASUBEB Headquarters, Awka, will feature the distribution of educational materials including exercise books, desktop computers, pencils, pens, interactive digital boards, chairs, sandals, chalks, textbooks, tablets, laptops, school bags, and other instructional items.
According to the invite, signed by the ASUBEB Chairman Dr Justina Anyadiegwu, the programme is being held under the leadership of the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, with the aim of improving teaching and learning in basic education schools across the state.
According to the invite, the event is expected to attract education stakeholders, government officials, school administrators, and teachers from different parts of the state.
