The Anambra State Urban Water Assets Holding Corporation (ASUWAHC) is set to deepen efforts towards improving water infrastructure and expanding access to safe potable water following a courtesy visit by a delegation from TLD Global Services Limited and Fluidmech Engineering ( TGSLFE ) to the Corporation’s headquarters in Awka on July 28.
The delegation, led by Engr. Emeka Agbo, engaged the
Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of ASUWAHC, Mrs.Emmanuella Okafor, in strategic discussions on opportunities for technical collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the deployment of innovative engineering solutions aimed at strengthening the Corporation’s water infrastructure and enhancing operational efficiency.

Speaking during the meeting, Engr. Ogba disclosed that TGSLFE are currently executing a donor-funded water metering and reticulation project for the Enugu State Water Corporation. He explained that the visit was born out of the firms’ desire to establish a collaborative relationship with ASUWAHC and contribute their technical expertise towards enhancing safe and sustainable water supply in the state.
According to him, TGSLFE are indigenous engineering firms with proven expertise in engineering, procurement, construction, installation, to commissioning, rehabilitation, and maintenance of critical water infrastructure, including water treatment facilities, pumping systems, pipelines, metering systems, and water distribution networks.
Responding, the OIC of ASUWAHC, Mrs.Okafor, expressed appreciation for the visit and commended the firms for their interest in partnering with the Corporation. She described the proposed collaboration as a welcome development that aligns with ASUWAHC’s commitment to improving water service delivery and ensuring that residents of Anambra State have increased access to safe, reliable, and sustainable water supply.
Mrs. Okafor further reaffirmed the Corporation’s readiness to partner with reputable engineering firms and development partners whose technical expertise and innovative solutions will complement the ongoing efforts of the Anambra State Government to modernize water infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and expand access to potable water across the state.
The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to sustained engagement and the exchange of technical expertise, expressing confidence that future collaboration would contribute significantly to the advancement of water infrastructure development and improved access to quality water services for communities across Anambra State.
