Anambra State Liaison Officer in Lagos, Barr. Leo Chiegboka, has urged Anambra indigenes living outside the state to strengthen their sense of homeland consciousness and prioritize investing in their communities.
Speaking at the Neni Town Union Lagos Branch end-of-year celebration on Sunday, Chiegboka emphasized that sustainable development begins with the commitment of sons and daughters to their roots.

He noted that a strong connection to home fosters unity, preserves cultural heritage, and ensures that future generations remain firmly linked to their origins.
Chiegboka added that communities flourish when their people take pride in where they come from and actively contribute to local development.

He also expressed appreciation to the Neni community for their support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
In his remarks, the Chairman of Neni Town Union Lagos Branch, Mr. Onyenwe, thanked members for their cooperation throughout the year and encouraged continued collaboration in the year ahead.
Similarly, the Uga Improvement Union Lagos Branch held its end-of-year activities, where members were reminded of the importance of collective effort in driving development initiatives for a more prosperous homeland.
The event featured thrilling performances by the Egedege dance troupe and talented young performers who energized the celebration.
