Today, we celebrate the teachers who shape minds, inspire dreams, and build the foundation of every thriving society.
As we mark Thank a Teacher Day, we recognise that behind every successful person is a teacher who shared knowledge, offered guidance, and believed in possibilities.
In Anambra State, the importance of teachers in building a future-ready society continues to receive strong attention.
The administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to empowering educators and transforming the learning environment.
Key initiatives are already driving this transformation. This includes the provision of over 2,000 laptops to teachers across the state to enhance digital literacy, alongside the ongoing Smart School project spanning 22 schools across Anambra.
The focus remains on creating a modern education system that equips both teachers and students for the demands of the future because education is not only about classrooms and books; it is about empowering those who guide the next generation.
Today, we encourage every parent to take a moment to appreciate their child’s teacher, tutor, or mentor; send a message, say thank you, and acknowledge the role they play in shaping your child’s journey.
We also encourage every child to celebrate their teachers today. A simple “thank you” can mean so much to the person who invests their time, patience, and knowledge in helping them grow.
To every teacher in Anambra and beyond, thank you for the sacrifices, for building minds, nurturing talents, and preparing the future.
