ANIGBOGU FOUNDATION EXTENDS LOVE TO NAWFIA FAMILIES

By Bridget Uju Okoye

‎The Nawfia community was filled with joy and gratitude as Ms. Chisom Anigbogu, through her foundation, reached out to widows and a few widowers with food items and other forms of support in a humanitarian outreach designed to ease their burdens and restore hope.

‎The programme, organized in partnership with Plexus Foods Rice Products, benefitted several vulnerable households. Many recipients expressed appreciation for the gesture, noting that it came at a time when the rising cost of living has made survival difficult.

‎Speaking during the event, Ms. Anigbogu said the initiative was motivated by compassion for the less privileged and the need to remind them that they are not forgotten by society.

‎“Giving is an act of love. We believe every widow and widower deserves care, dignity, and support. Our goal is to put smiles on their faces and encourage them to remain hopeful despite life’s challenges.”

‎One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Ngozi Okoye, a widow, could not hide her gratitude. “This support means so much to me and my children. With the high cost of living, this gift will go a long way. May God bless everyone who made it possible,” she said.

‎Mr. Emmanuel Nwafor, a widower, described the outreach as timely and encouraging. “It is heartwarming to know that people still care about us. This programme has brought relief and renewed hope to many families.”
