As political activities intensify ahead of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) primary elections, party stakeholders in Anambra North Senatorial Zone have been urged to support aspirants with proven loyalty and long-standing commitment to the party’s ideals.
In a statement issued by Osita Ndubisi, party faithful were called upon to rally behind Dr. Alex Obiogbolu for the Anambra North senatorial ticket, citing his consistency, dedication, and unwavering loyalty to APGA over the years.
Ndubisi referenced remarks made by the National Leader of the party and Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, during the recent Southeast Zonal Stakeholders Meeting, where the governor reportedly stressed the need for discipline, accountability, and recognition of loyal party members.
According to the statement, the governor made it clear that the era of opportunistic politics and “fair-weather membership” was no longer acceptable within the party, as APGA seeks to strengthen its core values of loyalty, consistency, and genuine service.
“Dr. Alex Obiogbolu remains a shining example of these values. While others are associated with political convenience and opportunism, he has remained steadfast in his commitment to the growth and stability of APGA,” the statement read.
Ndubisi further described Obiogbolu as a dependable party loyalist whose contributions to the party have remained consistent both in and out of political seasons. He added that the aspirant embodies the spirit of solidarity and commitment to collective progress.
He urged delegates and party members to make what he described as a straightforward decision by rewarding loyalty, experience, and dedication as the primaries draw closer.
The statement concluded by expressing confidence that entrusting the senatorial ticket to Obiogbolu would reinforce the party’s renewed commitment to integrity, unity, and responsible leadership in Anambra North Senatorial Zone.
