The management of St. Cletus Healthcare Ltd has conducted a free medical outreach for residents of Neni, Anambra State, as part of its efforts to improve access to quality healthcare, promoting disease prevention through early diagnosis and health education.
The outreach was organised to raise awareness about the foundation’s humanitarian activities, reaffirming its commitment to promoting the wellbeing of individuals and communities.
Speaking during the exercise, members of the foundation said the initiative is driven by a team of medical professionals dedicated to providing quality healthcare services, particularly to underserved communities.
According to the foundation, which operates from Nnewi, similar medical outreaches have previously been carried out in Akwaeze and other communities across the state. The charity programme, which commenced in December 2024, is expected to mark its second anniversary later this year.
The foundation’s Outreach and Evangelism Coordinator, Dr. Michael Igwe, noted that many avoidable health complications arise because people resort to self-medication or seeking treatment from unqualified medicine vendors instead of consulting trained medical professionals.
He advised members of the public to seek prompt medical attention whenever they experience health challenges, stressing that early diagnosis and appropriate treatment significantly improve health outcomes.
Dr. Igwe urged residents to take advantage of the specialised medical services available at St. Cletus Healthcare in Neni, assuring them that the facility provides 24-hour healthcare services delivered by qualified and experienced medical personnel.
