The Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has called on Nigerians to make their health a top priority, describing it as “the greatest investment anyone can make.”
In a message shared on her official social media page on June 29, Mrs. Soludo urged citizens to begin the new week with a renewed commitment to healthy living, with emphasis on both physical and mental well-being.
She expressed concern that many people ignore warning signs from their bodies while pushing through stress, fatigue, and exhaustion. “Neglecting your health can have serious consequences. Every dream, relationship, and achievement in life depends largely on your overall well-being,” she said.

The first lady noted that people are often so preoccupied with ambition that they forget to care for themselves. She stressed that no amount of wealth or accomplishment can replace good health, and urged Nigerians to value it before health challenges arise.
Mrs. Soludo advised against waiting until illness sets in to appreciate the importance of health. Instead, she encouraged the adoption of healthy habits and the integration of self-care into daily routines.
“Taking care of your health should never be seen as a luxury. It is a necessity. A healthy body gives you the strength and energy to pursue your goals, nurture relationships, and contribute meaningfully to society,” she said.
She further explained that a strong health foundation enables every other aspect of life to thrive, adding that physical, emotional, and mental well-being are key to lasting success and happiness.
The governor’s wife also urged the public to pay attention to bodily signals that require medical or personal attention and to seek help early, rather than ignore symptoms that could escalate into serious conditions.
She concluded by encouraging Nigerians to let the principles of healthy living guide their decisions as the new week begins. Her message aligns with her Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo campaign, which continues to promote wellness, disease prevention, and healthier lifestyles across Anambra State.
