The administration of Chukwuma Soludo has been described by observers as reflecting several values promoted during the United Nations Week of Solidarity with the Peoples of Non-Self-Governing Territories, particularly in the areas of human development, cultural identity, inclusion and good governance.
The United Nations observance, held annually from May 25 to May 31, focuses on supporting peoples living in territories yet to attain full self-government or independence. The week promotes principles such as human rights, self-determination, dignity, peace and social development.
Analysts note that while Anambra State is not a non-self-governing territory, the broader ideals of the observance can also serve as a measure for governance and development efforts at local and national levels.

In Anambra State, the Soludo administration has continued to emphasize community development, citizen participation, youth empowerment, infrastructure renewal, education reforms, improved security and the promotion of Igbo culture and identity.
The administration’s “Solution Agenda” is also focused on governance reforms, economic growth and improving the welfare of residents, in line with the United Nations’ emphasis on protecting people’s interests and advancing sustainable development.

Observers further noted that government support for local content, cultural festivals and preservation of Igbo values reflects the UN principle of protecting peoples’ identity and heritage.
The administration’s initiatives in education, healthcare and skills development have also been identified as efforts aimed at empowering citizens and promoting social inclusion across the state.

However, political analysts maintain that, like every democratic government, the administration continues to face public scrutiny and differing opinions on some policies and programmes. Concerns have been raised in certain quarters over security enforcement, economic challenges and implementation of some government policies.
They noted that such debates remain part of democratic governance and civic participation.
Overall, observers believe that many of the developmental goals and governance policies of the Soludo administration align with the broader ideals of human dignity, inclusion, cultural identity and development promoted during the UN solidarity observance.
