SOLUDO SOLUTION PRESEASON TOURNAMENT OPENS NEW PATHWAY FOR EMERGING FOOTBALL TALENTS IN ANAMBRA

The Soludo Solution Preseason Tournament has been introduced as a platform to identify and develop promising football talents for possible recruitment into Solution Football Club, while providing young players with an opportunity to showcase their abilities.
Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association (ANSFA) and Supervising Officer of Solution Football Club, General Chikelue Iloenyosi, disclosed this on Aug. 24 at the Awka City Stadium, describing the tournament as the first of its kind in Anambra State.
Iloenyosi commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo and the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr Patrick Agha Mba, for supporting initiatives that promote grassroots football and create opportunities for young athletes.
He said the tournament would provide a competitive and supportive environment for players from across the state to demonstrate their skills, gain valuable experience and pursue opportunities to advance their football careers.
Also speaking, the State Chief Coach, Mr Jude Emeka Nwafor, expressed optimism about the competition, describing the atmosphere as friendly and conducive for players to perform at their best, commending the Soludo administration for its commitment to sports development at the grassroots.
The Football Manager, Mr Olisaemeka Ezeasor, said the tournament had been carefully planned and organised to provide a credible platform for talent discovery, noting that the opening fixtures saw Solution FC defeat Olive Charles FC 2–1, while Edel FC secured a 3–0 victory over Bonfa FC.
Ezeasor described the tournament as an important step towards strengthening football development in the state, encouraging stakeholders to support initiatives that promote continuity and opportunities for young talents.
One of the players from Bonfa FC, Mr Igwe Ifeanyi, expressed satisfaction with the tournament, saying he was pleased to be part of an event that gives young footballers the chance to showcase their abilities.
The Soludo Solution Preseason Tournament is expected to contribute to the development of grassroots football in Anambra while providing a pathway for talented players to progress to higher levels of the game.
