The Head Teacher of Atani Community Primary School 1 in Ogbaru Local Government Area, Mrs. Odotu Manureen, has on June 18, commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the developmental strides recorded across Anambra State, expressing optimism that his administration’s vision will continue to transform the state for the better.
Mrs. Odotu praised the governor’s commitment to infrastructure development and educational advancement, noting that many communities and schools have benefited from his people-oriented policies and interventions.
Despite the progress made, she appealed to the state government to address some pressing challenges facing her school. According to her, insecurity around the school environment remains a major concern, posing risks to both pupils and members of staff.
She also called for the construction of proper drainage channels within the school premises, explaining that the absence of an effective drainage system often results in flooding during the rainy season, disrupting academic activities and movement within the compound.
The head teacher further appealed for the provision of adequate desks, chairs, and tables for teachers and pupils, stressing that the shortage of furniture negatively affects the learning experience and classroom comfort.
While expressing confidence in the governor’s responsiveness to the needs of the people, Mrs. Odotu reiterated her appreciation for his efforts in developing the state and voiced hope that her school’s challenges would receive prompt attention from the government.
