PROF. IKEDIUGWU LAUDS SOLUDO’S EDUCATION REFORMS, ENDORSES HIS 2ND TERM IN OFFICE

The State Chairman Post Primary Schools Service Commission, Prof. Nkechi Ikediugwu has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Chukwuma Soludo for rejigging the education sector toward the path of progress and excellence.

Prof. Ikediugwu made the commendation at the Dr.Alex Ekwueme square Awka during the 65th Independence Anniversary celebration of Nigeria.

According to the celebrated academic, the governor has proved beyond all reasonable doubt that education is the bedrock of the modern society.

She noted that under Soludo’s watch, 8,115 teachers have been recruited at the primary and post primary schools cadres, smart schools operative in the three Senatorial Zones of the state, free education policy operative in the government owned approved nursery, primary and secondary schools in the state, laurels won by state at the international, National and geo political Zonal levels among other accomplishments.

She commended the governor for the simultaneous attention given to all sectors of the economy in all the three Senatorial Zones of the state which has moved the state to enviable heights.

Prof. Ikediugwu admitted that the governor deserves the plethora of awards and recognitions given to him by international bodies, national, regional and other statutory bodies.

The most recent awards namely the “Oluatuegwu’ Chieftaincy Title by the traditional rulers Councils of the three Senatorial Zones of the state, the African Best Governor award and the”Oku Nyelu Ife Ndigbo’ Chieftaincy Title award by the “Oha na Eze Ndigbo’ Worldwide according to her, bear eloquent testimonies of his unwavering commitment toward making Anambra State a liveable and prosperous homeland.

To this end, the PPSSC boss endorsed him for a second term in office and declared that his political opponents should wait after his 2nd Term In Office to re declare their intentions to vie for the Anambra State Governorship seat.

She used the forum to offer her deep reflection on the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary celebration of the country, expecting the nation’s leaders to adopt a human face administration for the good of the Nigerian masses.
