The family of Late Chief Chukwuma Okoye of Isuaniocha has congratulated the people of Amawbia on the coronation of Igwe Uche Sunday Okonkwo as the new Okpaligwe of Amawbia.

In a goodwill message signed by the family Matriarch, Prof. Chinedu Christie Okoye (née Nnamah), the family described the monarch’s ascension as a reflection of his wisdom, leadership qualities, and dedication to peace, unity, and development. They expressed hope that his reign would be marked by bold and fearless leadership, purposeful vision, and renewed unity, harmony, security, and stability across the community.

The message offered prayers for divine guidance, asking the Holy Spirit to lead and strengthen the new king throughout his reign. It also prayed for God’s wisdom, strength, good health, and long life for the monarch as he assumes the responsibilities of the throne.

The family commended Amawbia for its unity and cultural strength in achieving the milestone, noting that the coronation signals a new and hopeful chapter for the town. They joined the people in celebrating the occasion and wished the community sustained peace, progress, cooperation, and prosperity under the new leadership.

The message concluded with prayers for a long, peaceful, and impactful reign for Igwe Okonkwo, guided by divine wisdom and ancestral blessings.
