The Management of Anambra Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ASPHCDA), has paid a commiseration visit to an health worker hospitalised in Menax hospital, Onitsha South LGA as a result of an involvement in a ghastly motor accident while on official duty on January 14, around the Anaocha LGA Secretariat Complex, Neni.

The accident victim, Mrs Evelyn Etodike, is a health worker in Adazi Enu Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC), Anaocha LGA.

Mrs Etodike who survived the accident was badly wounded as incident led to the amputation of her right leg.

The Executive Secretary, ASPHCDA, Pharm Chisom Uchem during the hospital visitation accompanied by ASPHCDA Management team, prayed and consoled with Mrs Etodike.

Presenting some monetary, provisions and food items to enable her to cope while still in the hospital, the Executive Secretary encouraged her to keep faith, assuring that the condition was not the end.

Mrs Etodike thanked the Executive Secretary and her team for the visit. She noted that while the pains from the incident was unimaginable and unexplainable, she thanked God for perseverance as the incident took her leg but not her life.

In attendance during the visit were; the Head Administration Department- Mrs Cecilia Peter-Okoye, Head Account Department- Mrs Amaka Maduka, Head Internal Audit Unit- Mrs Ekene Chukwudi-Eweh, Head Pharmaceutical Unit- Mrs Chiamaka Jane Anigbogu, and Information Officer- Ms Nnedinma Okeke.
