‎Pastor Great Ajero of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Umuobi Awkuzu, has called on staff of Comprehensive Medical Centre Awkuzu to align themselves with the spirit of love in the discharge of their duty.
‎
‎Pastor Ajero made the call during the monthly house fellowship meeting of Comprehensive Medical Center Akwuzu (CMC) held on April 9 at the hospital’s main hall.

Emphasizing on the importance of a life of love, he noted that true love mandates one to always work with a sincere mind, keeping nonchalance out of ones life. Love according to him makes the conscience alive.
‎
‎He reminded the staff that every work has its heavenly reward, and admonished all not to work just for material earthly rewards but with a heart of love that has a great recompense of reward.
‎

‎Citing 1Corinthians 13, Pastor Ajero encouraged the staff to always put up their best, with the approved professional standards in the discharge of their healthcare services.

Speaking, the hospital Matron, Appolonia Meze, recalled that April 7 was World Health Day themed “Together for Health, Stand with Science,”
maintaining that good health is not by chance, but is built on the right information and the right actions. As health workers, she encouraged all to always work with verified health information and always demonstrate firm dedication in delivering health services.

According to her, healthy communities start when we stand with science by engaging with evidence and science based guidance in protecting health. She charged healthcare givers to always align their work with the approved professional standards.
