Students of Gozie Anyachebelu Polytechnic demonstrated hands-on mastery of renewable energy technology at the institution’s Practical Exhibition Programme on June 29, showcasing a functional solar power system to guests, lecturers, and fellow students.

The exhibit walked attendees through the complete setup solar panels, charge controller, battery, and inverter illustrating how sunlight is captured and converted into electricity for homes, schools, and small-scale businesses.

One of the student exhibitors, Master Chisom Okeke, said the project was designed to deepen practical understanding of renewable energy while promoting affordable, environmentally friendly power solutions. He noted that the exercise sharpened teamwork, problem-solving, and confidence among participants, and expressed gratitude to management and lecturers for fostering an environment where student innovation could thrive.

Guests and lecturers applauded the students’ technical competence and presentation, describing the exhibition as a testament to the institution’s commitment to quality technical education and skills development.

The demonstration further reinforced Gozie Anyachebelu Polytechnic’s dedication to producing graduates equipped with practical experience, innovative thinking, and the capacity to deliver sustainable engineering solutions.
