The Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Health and the Supervising Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Pharmacist Dr. Obiageli A. Uchebo, urge all citizens to embody the virtues of love, sacrifice, compassion, and selflessness associated with Easter. She encourages using this season to focus on health through healthy lifestyles, supporting others, and following public health guidelines when necessary.
“A healthy population is the cornerstone of a prosperous society. These values are particularly important as we work to strengthen our healthcare system and promote accurate, timely information for the well-being of our people.”
Pharmacist Uchebo made this statement in her Easter greeting to Ndi Anambra and beyond.
She highlighted that Easter is a sacred season that celebrates the victory of life over death, hope over despair, and light over darkness through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. “It is a time for reflection, renewed faith, and dedication to service,” she said.
“May the joy of the risen Christ bring peace to our homes, strength to our workforce, and hope for a brighter future.”
