The Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Ministry of Agriculture, Awka, erupted in great joy as the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Ifenyinwa Uzoka, celebrated successful intensive three months mother/child care “Omugwo” of her daughter who was delivered of a baby girl last November.
The brief ceremony attracted staff members who gathered to rejoice with her for God’s grace and mercies.
While appreciating God for His abundant blessings, Mrs Uzoka, described arrival of the child as a special gift from God which brought joy, happiness and sense of fulfillment to her.
She affirmed that her grand child added to their harvest of blessings in recent times, attributing it to manifestation of God’s love and presence in her family.
Uzoka, urged those who came to celebrate with her to always trust in God and wait patiently for Him to touch them at their various point of needs.
Felicitating with the family, the Programme Manager, Agricultural Development Programme (ADP), Mr Godwin Akujieze and Director of Administration, Mrs Ifenyinwa Onyenwe, described the entrance of the baby as glorious.
They thanked God for His grace and prayed for more blessings to their family and that of every staff member of the Ministry.
The event featured prayers, praises, and entertainment.
