Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, a frontrunner for the Anambra North Senatorial District seat, has underscored the importance of loyalty and dedication within the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Party.
Speaking at an interactive session with party officials from Onitsha South Local Government Area, Obiogbolu highlighted APGA’s tradition of recognizing and rewarding loyal members.
The event, held at Onitsha South LGA’s Conference Hall, saw Obiogbolu citing practical examples of dedicated party officials who have risen to higher responsibilities.
He pointed to the Onitsha South Local Government Area, where the newly elected Mayor, a former APGA chairman, exemplifies the party’s reward system.
Obiogbolu, a Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, contrasted APGA’s approach with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), his former party, emphasizing that commitment is recognized and rewarded. “Loyal party members remain important instruments through which the party’s progressive vision is advanced,” he said.
Reaffirming his commitment to APGA, Obiogbolu assured stakeholders across Anambra North seven LGAs that, as Senator, he will continue to strengthen the party at the grassroots.
He expressed confidence in APGA’s culture of loyalty, sacrifice, and reward guiding the party’s decisions, noting that steadfast dedication earns members greater responsibilities and opportunities to serve.
The aspirant’s message resonated with party officials, who welcomed his pledge to build on APGA’s strong tradition of recognizing and rewarding loyalty.
With the 2027 Senate election on the horizon, Obiogbolu’s commitment to APGA’s values is seen as a boost to the party’s prospects in Anambra North.
