The Mayor of Oyi Local Government Area, Hon. John Elochukwu Igbem, has received the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barr. Chijioke Ojukwu, and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Legal Matters, Barr. C.C. Chukwudi, on a courtesy visit.
The officials visited the mayor in his office on Oct. 27, where they discussed issues relating to the development of the local government area.
The meeting provided an opportunity to explore areas of collaboration in advancing the development objectives of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
Igbem expressed appreciation to the visitors for the gesture and reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining cordial relationships with government officials and other stakeholders to promote development in Oyi.
He also pledged to work towards improving infrastructure and the general outlook of the area in line with the state government’s development agenda.
The mayor said his administration remained committed to supporting initiatives that would make Oyi a more developed and liveable local government area.
