APGA candidate for Anambra West State House of Assembly, Hon. Felix Ikechi, has presented his legislative agenda to the Anam People’s Assembly (APA), Awka Branch.
Ikechi made the presentation on September 13, during the branch’s Oote Anam celebration, which brought together sons and daughters of Anam to celebrate their heritage, identity, culture and unity.
The candidate was warmly received by the branch Chairman, Engr. Chukwuemeka Nnaemka who welcomed him on behalf of the association’s leadership and members.
Speaking at the event, Ikechi thanked the association for its support during the APGA primary election, and solicited its continued support ahead of the 2027 Anambra State House of Assembly election.
He said his aspiration is anchored on quality, accessible and accountable representation, with emphasis on listening to constituents and ensuring their concerns receive appropriate legislative attention.
The former Anambra West Boss highlighted education, healthcare, youth empowerment, agriculture, economic opportunities, community development and responsive legislation as key areas of his proposed representation.
He also highlighted infrastructural projects executed by the Anambra State Government under Governor Prof Chukwuma Soludo in Anambra West, stressing the importance of effective representation in supporting development.
Responding on behalf of the association, the chairman Engr. Nnaemka appreciated Ikechi for identifying with the association during Oote Anam, emphasizing continued engagement, unity and development.
He appealed to him to carry the people along, remain accessible and maintain regular engagement with constituents.
The engagement provided an opportunity for interactions between Ikechi and members of APA Awka Branch on representation, development and the interests of Anambra West Constituency.
