The Mayor of Onitsha North Local Government Area, Tony Nwora, has expressed confidence that the second term of Chukwuma Soludo as Governor of Anambra State will bring accelerated development and greater dividends of democracy to the people.
Mayor Nwora made the remarks during the governor’s swearing-in ceremony held at Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, where Governor Soludo officially commenced his second term in office.
Speaking on the occasion, the mayor described Governor Soludo’s first term as impactful, noting that the administration recorded notable achievements across several sectors of the state’s economy and governance.
He expressed optimism that the governor would build on the progress already made and further strengthen development efforts across Anambra State.
Mayor Nwora also appreciated the people of the state for their continued support and trust in the governor, noting that the renewed mandate reflects the confidence of Ndi Anambra in his leadership.
The Onitsha North Mayor added that the second tenure presents another opportunity to deepen development initiatives and improve the welfare of residents across the state.
