‎The Anambra State Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Prof. Charles Ofoegbu, has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to promoting unity, transparency, and effective regulation within the petroleum and gas sector.
‎
‎Speaking during a stakeholders’ meeting with petroleum and gas operators held on June 26, at the Anambra State Solid Minerals and Energy Resources Complex in Awka, Prof. Ofoegbu underscored the need for stronger collaboration and mutual understanding among industry players.
‎
‎He urged stakeholders to embrace unity and work together in the collective interest of the sector, noting that cooperation remains essential for sustainable growth, stability, and effective service delivery.
‎


‎According to him, teamwork is the key to preventing conflicts and achieving shared objectives. “We must work harmoniously like a family. Where there is teamwork, there is no crisis. Irrespective of our various affiliations and directions, we are one people serving one nation”.

‎Prof. Ofoegbu reiterated the state government’s resolve to create an enabling environment that encourages cooperation, accountability, and the orderly development of the petroleum and gas industry in Anambra State.
