Hon. Ifeanyi Ndulue Ofodile, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) leading aspirant for the Anambra State House of Assembly by‑election in Onitsha North 1 Constituency, has called on constituents to take full advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
Addressing residents yesterday, Hon. Ofodile stressed that the true power of the electorate lies in their votes. “Every eligible voter must secure a Permanent Voter Card and participate in this exercise. Your vote is your voice, it will determine who leads us and shape the future of our state”.
With the INEC CVR now underway across Anambra State, Ofodile reminded young first‑time voters, those who lost their PVCs, and individuals seeking card transfers that registration is the gateway to taking part in the November 8 Governorship election. “By obtaining your voter card, you reaffirm your right and responsibility to influence government,” he added.
Highlighting the importance of electoral integrity, the aspirant warned against vote‑buying and urged voters to guard their franchise jealously. “Do not compromise your vote for financial gain. Your civic duty is too valuable to surrender,” Ofodile cautioned.
He pledged to work for transparent, people‑centered governance once elected. “Participate actively in this registration drive. Together, we will ensure that leadership in Onitsha North 1 reflects the aspirations of our community.”
Residents are encouraged to visit their nearest INEC registration centres with valid identification and confirm their details before the deadline.
