Senator Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah, OON, has congratulated Barr. Udoji Amedu on his nomination as Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism in Anambra State.
In a statement issued by her Media Director, Ezennia Nonso Chukwudebe, the former Minister of Aviation and frontline aspirant for the Anambra North All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) senatorial ticket described the nomination as well-deserved and reflective of Amedu’s longstanding contributions to public service and grassroots development.
Oduah also commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for forwarding Amedu’s name to the Anambra State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation, describing the decision as strategic and thoughtful.
According to the statement, the nomination demonstrates the governor’s commitment to appointing capable and experienced individuals to manage critical sectors of governance, particularly culture, entertainment, and tourism.
“Barr. Udoji Amedu has consistently demonstrated purposeful leadership, dedication to service, and a deep connection with the people,” the statement read.
The statement highlighted Amedu’s tenure as former Council Chairman of Ayamelum Local Government Area, noting that he earned recognition for impactful leadership and community-focused governance during his time in office.
It further described him as a respected legal practitioner, businessman, and influential political figure in Ayamelum, whose leadership of the Anambra North Peoples Forum has contributed to unity and regional advancement.
Oduah expressed confidence that Amedu’s experience and leadership qualities would add value to the state’s cultural and tourism sector if confirmed by the House of Assembly.
She wished him success as he proceeds through the screening and confirmation process.
