A political figure in Anambra North, Chief Primus Ugochukwu Odili, has commended workers across the state for their contributions to development, as Nigerians mark International Workers’ Day alongside the beginning of a new month.
In a message released on May 1, Odili praised the resilience and dedication of workers, describing them as the driving force behind the state’s growth.
“I salute every hand that labours and every heart that serves—our farmers, teachers, traders, artisans, professionals, and all workers in Anambra. Your diligence remains the engine of our progress,” he said.
He expressed optimism about the new month, calling for unity and collective effort in building a stronger Anambra.
“As we step into May, we must remain united, support one another, and continue working toward the development of our communities,” Odili said.
The message also highlighted the importance of peace, progress, and shared responsibility, with a call on residents to remain committed to the growth of Anambra North and the state at large.
“Our heritage is built on strength and resilience. We must uphold these values as we strive for a better future,” he added.
Odili concluded by wishing workers well and encouraging continued dedication, noting that sustained effort and cooperation are key to achieving lasting development.
