The President General of Obosi Development Union, Barr. Chimezie Obi, has, on behalf of the people of Obosi ancient kingdom, expressed thankfulness and appreciation to Chief Stanley Nkwoka, the Mayor of Idemili North LGA, for re-naming the old Limca road after the sage, Chief Emeka Anyaoku (Adazie Obosi).
His expression of thankfulness and gratitude to Chief Nkwoka was contained in a letter he made available to journalists and circulated in Obosi Whatsapp groups’ platforms.
The people of Obosi in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State were thankful and appreciative of Chief Nkwoka because he renamed the old Limca road, which stretches from Nkpor road intersection to Borromeo Hospital road, after their illustrious son, Chief Emeka Eleazar Anyaoku (Adazie Obosi).

A part of the letter reads: “We the good people of Obosi and indeed, the entire people of Idemili North LGA, wish to express our appreciation to the mayor of Idemili North LGA, Chief Stanley Nkwoka, and his councillors, for re-naming the old Limca road Ichie Emeka Anyaoku Road.”
About a week ago, the mayor of Idemili North LGA, Chief Stanley Nkwoka, had renamed the old Limca after Chief Emeka Anyaoku.
He premised the honour he accorded Chief Anyaoku on Anyaoku’s illustrious career, exemplary lifestyle, and leadership achievements at the global level.
Chief Anyaoku, who attended the University of Ibadan, where he studied Classics, was a former commonwealth Secretary General. Before then, he had served as Nigeria’s former foreign affairs minister in the second republic, though briefly.
