The Obizi Youths Association (OYA) has commended the successful swearing-in of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo for a second term as Governor of Anambra State.
Speaking shortly after the inauguration ceremony in Awka, the Secretary of the Association, Engr. Amos Nwoye, said the group, comprising youths from various towns in Awka South Local Government Area of the state was impressed by the governor’s performance during his first tenure.
Engr. Nwoye noted that Governor Soludo’s hard work has brought about remarkable growth and development across the state, adding that the overwhelming support shown by Ndi Anambra in re-electing the governor is a clear testament to the satisfaction of the people with his first-term achievements.
According to him, Soludo’s administration executed numerous impactful projects, including the construction of roads, hospitals, and bridges, as well as other developmental initiatives.
He expressed confidence that the governor would build on these achievements in his second term.
The Association also commended the governor’s efforts in sanitising the state by curbing fraudulent activities, which according to Nwoye, has helped instill values of hard work and discipline among youths.
He reaffirmed the Association’s support for the Soludo-led administration and called on Ndi Anambra to continue backing the governor to enable him to achieve greater success in his second tenure.
