A key moment emerged at the Southeast Zonal Stakeholders Meeting of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), held at the International Conference Centre, Awka, where Dr. Alex Obiogbolu’s presence drew attention beyond routine attendance.
Measured and deliberate, his appearance signaled a reaffirmation of his alignment with the core ideals that have defined APGA’s political philosophy. Party members described the moment as one of meaning rather than fanfare.
That position was echoed in the address of the party’s National Leader and Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, who declared a renewed commitment to party discipline and integrity. Soludo pledged to uphold APGA’s core values, honouring stewardship, rewarding loyalty, and ending what he called the era of opportunism.
On the forthcoming primaries, the Governor assured stakeholders of a free and transparent process through the Option A4 model, stressing fairness in the exercise.
For Dr. Obiogbolu, the Governor’s remarks served as affirmation and a signal of the party’s intent to strengthen internal bonds while charting a unified path in the Southeast.
With attention now turning to the primaries, Obiogbolu moved through the gathering engaging stakeholders, exchanging ideas, and acknowledging commendations for his loyalty and stewardship, alongside assurances of grassroots support.
