Anambra State House of Assembly aspirant for Idemili South Constituency, Chief Mrs. Amaka Obi, has stated that her decision to enter politics is driven by a commitment to service and community development.
Obi said her aspiration is rooted in the need for individuals with experience and capacity to contribute directly to governance, rather than remain on the sidelines. She noted that active participation is essential to achieving meaningful progress.
The businesswoman emphasized her track record of supporting people within her community, adding that she intends to expand such efforts through public office.
She pledged to provide effective and responsive representation if elected, with a focus on improving the welfare of constituents and delivering measurable results.
Obi also expressed confidence in the support of the people of Idemili South, stating that her goal is to raise the standard of leadership and contribute to sustainable development in the constituency.
