The APGA Senatorial Candidate for Anambra Central, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, has congratulated the seven newly inaugurated and returning mayors of the Local Government Areas(LGA) that make up the Senatorial District, tasking them to prioritise the welfare and development of their people.

Nwankwo conveyed the message in a statement issued on Oct. 3, describing their inauguration as an opportunity to strengthen grassroots governance and deliver meaningful services to residents.

He urged the mayors to lead with wisdom, humility, courage and dedication, stressing that the people expect responsive leadership and tangible improvements in their communities.

Nwankwo called for greater attention to youth and women empowerment, local infrastructure and community development, while encouraging the mayors to create an environment where residents and businesses can thrive.

He noted that Anambra Central is home to hardworking and enterprising people, expressing optimism that effective collaboration among the various levels of government would accelerate development across the district.

The APGA candidate urged the mayors to promote peace, unity and inclusive governance, assuring that responsible leadership would help strengthen communities and improve the quality of life of residents.

“Once again, I congratulate you all and wish you successful and impactful tenures in office. May your tenure bring meaningful development, peace and prosperity to our people,” Nwankwo said.
