The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Anambra State Chapter, has congratulated Prof. Chukwuma Soludo on his inauguration for a second term in office.
This is contained in a congratulatory message signed by the Chairperson of the Association, Comrade Tochukwu Ifejika shortly after the swearing-in ceremony held in Awka.
NAWOJ described the governor’s re-election as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in his leadership by the people of Anambra State.
It noted that the renewed mandate presents an opportunity for the governor to consolidate on the achievements of his first tenure and further promote development, peace, and prosperity in the state.
The Association also felicitated with the Wife of the Governor, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, who serves as the Grand Patroness of NAWOJ in the state.
It commended her for her consistent support for women journalists and her commitment to the advancement of the media profession.
NAWOJ further praised her advocacy for women empowerment and social development, noting that her contributions have continued to make a positive impact on society.
The Association described her as a source of inspiration and a pillar of support to its members.
The Anambra NAWOJ reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote professional excellence, gender inclusion, and sustainable development, while pledging continued collaboration with the state government for the overall growth of the media sector.
