The wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs. Nonye Soludo has commended neighbours at the Obosi resident of the 10 year old boy who was bruised by his guardians at Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area (LGA).
The commendation came while she visited the boy to monitor his response to treatment at a hospital in the state. She was accompanied by the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike.
She said, “I visited young Chiziterem at the hospital where he has now been transferred, to personally assess his condition and offer encouragement as he begins his recovery journey.

“I am relieved by the reassuring update from the medical team that his condition is now stable. While he still requires adequate care and support to fully heal, it is heartwarming to see the progress he has made within such a short time.
“Chiziterem’s story has touched many hearts and reminds us of our collective responsibility to protect every child from abuse, neglect, and harm. I will continue to monitor his recovery and ensure he receives the care, protection, and support he deserves.
Mrs. Soludo, then thanked, “the medical team, concerned citizens, and everyone who has shown love and compassion during this difficult time.
“Remember, if you see something, always endeavour to say something. Call 112 or 5111 to report any emergency”.
