Anambra State Ministry of Health has conducted a Data review/validation meeting aimed at analyzing Healthcare delivery performance in the state for the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026.

The meeting conducted by the Department of Planning, Research and Statistics (PRS) of the ministry was held at the Data Operating Centre (DOC) of the ministry on Wednesday.
In her welcome address, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Obiageli Uchebo urged the participants to give their best contributions and profer ways of improving on their performances.

She urged them to put in their bests at what they are doing at their places of work so as to put the state in an enviable position among other states of the nation.
The Head, Department of Planning Research and Statistics, Dr. Johnpaul Onyekineso in his speech urged the reviewers/healthworkers not to see the meeting as a mere get together but one aimed at:

“critically examining quality, accuracy and completeness of our data and more importantly to translate these insights into actionable strategies that will improve service delivery across the state.”
He, therefore, encouraged participants to approach the day’s “deliberations with sincerity, professionalism and a result oriented mindset.
“At the end of this meeting, we should be able to leave with clear action points that will guide our next steps and enhance our overall performance”, Dr. Onyekineso said.
All the departments and Agencies attached to the ministry were represented at the meeting.
