She explained that participants will receive training in key areas such as Digital Marketing, UI/UX Design Basics, Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Virtual Assistant Services, Data Entry, Workflow Automation, Lead Generation and the use of Project Management Tools, among other high-demand digital skills.
According to the lawmaker, digital literacy has become a critical requirement for success in many sectors, making it essential for young people to acquire relevant skills that can open doors to employment and self-reliance.
“The future belongs to those who possess relevant digital skills. This programme is part of our commitment to empowering young people, positioning them to take advantage of opportunities within the global digital economy,” Azikiwe said.
She noted that the programme is exclusively for indigenes and residents of Onitsha North I Constituency who currently reside within the constituency and are registered voters.
With only ten slots available in the second batch, eligible youths have been encouraged to submit their applications early due to the anticipated level of competition.
