The Mayor of Idemili South Local Government Area(LGA), Hon. Mrs. Amaka Obi, has congratulated Mrs. Chinwe Udodi Umerie on her appointment as Acting State Woman Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), describing it as a well-deserved recognition of her competence, dedication and commitment to the party.

In her congratulatory message, Mayor Obi expressed confidence that Mrs. Umerie would bring her wealth of experience, integrity and professionalism to bear in her new role.

She noted that the appointment reflects the trust and confidence reposed in Mrs. Umerie’s ability to provide effective leadership and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the party.

The mayor praised Mrs. Umerie’s record of hard work and selfless service, saying that her appointment would inspire more women to actively participate in politics and leadership.

Hon. Obi wished Mrs. Umerie success in her new assignment and prayed for God’s wisdom, strength, and guidance as she assumes the responsibilities of her office.

She urged the new Acting State Woman Leader to remain committed to the ideals of transparency, accountability, and people-oriented service in the discharge of her duties.
