Hon. Ejike Kelton Umeojiako has extended felicitations to fathers in Onitsha South and beyond on the occasion of this year’s Father’s Day, commending their indispensable role in fostering strong families and a stable society.
In a goodwill message, the lawmaker described fathers as the “pillars of the home,” whose sacrifices, guidance, and steadfast dedication continue to shape the moral and social fabric of communities.
He noted that the responsibilities of fathers extend beyond provision to include the critical duty of instilling values, discipline, and leadership in the next generation.
Hon. Umeojiako also acknowledged the contributions of grandfathers, guardians, and other father figures, commending their enduring commitment to family and societal development. He offered prayers for divine blessings upon all fathers, asking God to grant them good health, wisdom, and strength as they discharge their noble responsibilities.
He urged fathers to always remain steadfast in their vital roles within the family and the wider community.
