Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Enekwaspumu, has emerged overall winner in the Catholic Men Organisation (CMO) category of the Archdiocesan Final Quiz Competition held on Oct. 19 at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha.
The parish announced the results to parishioners on Oct. 25, shortly after Mass.
The competition featured 20 parishes across the Onitsha Archdiocese, with participants testing their knowledge of the Catholic faith, doctrine and Church teachings.
In other categories, the parish’s Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria (CYON) secured second position, while its Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) finished fourth.
The results reflected the parish’s performance across the three categories in which its organisations participated.
The competition provided an opportunity for members of the participating organisations to demonstrate their knowledge of the Catholic faith and Church teachings.
