As children allover the world celebrate international children’s day, many people have shared their thoughts on the importance of protecting and nurturing children.
Mrs Chinyere Okafor a teacher said that children are the future of our nation and that we must invest in their education to ensure they grow up in safe environment.
Adaobi Eze a student expressed excitement saying that she’s happy to be celebrating the international children’s day.its a special day that makes us feel loved and appreciated.
Mrs Ngozi Obi a trader said that the government and parents should do more to support children especially those who can’t afford quality education.
Many residents also called for improved schools, better health care, strong child protection laws and support for vulnerable children.They also emphasized that international children’s Day should not be a celebration but also a time to reflect on the challenges facing children and the collective responsibility to secure their future.
