‎The Mayor of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Oluchukwu Ilogbenu (Olutek), has intensified grassroots mobilisation among members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
‎
‎Ilogbenu made this known on October 19 during a cluster meeting at Oba Ward II, which brought together representatives from all 42 polling units in the ward to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures.
‎
‎The meeting, hosted by a prominent APGA stakeholder, Chief Henry Ayinofu, popularly known as Mbuze Oba, attracted 420 polling unit executives alongside other party faithful, highlighting the level of participation and commitment among members.
‎

‎The mayor expressed satisfaction with the turnout, commending party members for their dedication and urging them to sustain their involvement in party activities as preparations for the forthcoming elections intensify.
‎
‎He also appreciated Chief Ayinofu for hosting the meeting and for his continued contributions to strengthening APGA’s grassroots presence across Idemili South.
‎

‎Ilogbenu urged party members to remain united, stressing that cooperation, effective communication, and sustained engagement were essential to maintaining strong party structures throughout the local government area.
‎
‎He further called on residents and APGA faithful to support the development agenda of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, noting that the administration’s Solution Agenda was aimed at transforming Anambra State.
‎

‎The mayor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the Idemili South Rising vision, expressing optimism that continuous community engagement and grassroots participation would promote development and strengthen the bond between the government and the people.
‎
‎He concluded with APGA’s popular slogan, “Onye Aghana Nwanne Ya,” emphasising the importance of unity, solidarity, and collective responsibility in building a stronger and more prosperous Idemili South.
