The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for Anambra West Constituency in the 2027 State House of Assembly election, Dr Felix Ikechi, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for promoting the Public Private Community Partnership (PPCP) model to drive development and improve service delivery.
Ikechi made the commendation on Nov. 2, during the commissioning of renovated healthcare facilities and medical equipment donated by a philanthropist, Chief Anthony Nnaemeka, in Oroma Etiti Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area.

The intervention covered the renovation of the Primary Healthcare Centre at Eke UmuOtianya, refurbishment of staff quarters at the Referral Healthcare Centre, and the provision of a generating set and four modern hospital beds.
He said the intervention demonstrated how collaboration among government, private individuals and communities could help bridge infrastructure gaps and improve access to essential services, particularly in rural areas.

According to him, the partnership model provides a framework for mobilising private sector and community support for development projects while complementing government investments in critical sectors.
Ikechi commended Nnaemeka for the donation, noting that the intervention highlighted the role individuals and community stakeholders could play in improving public infrastructure and residents’ welfare.
He urged other well meaning individuals, corporate organisations and community leaders from Anambra West to support similar initiatives, particularly those that address the needs of residents.
The intervention highlighted the importance of collaboration among government, private citizens and communities in strengthening primary healthcare delivery at the grassroots.
