The management of Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Specialist Hospital, Nkpor, has expressed gratitude to Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation for donating essential medications to support healthcare services at the facility.
Speaking during the presentation of the drugs on June 24, the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, Sr. Nkiruka Okafor, described the donation as a timely intervention that would provide relief to patients by ensuring access to vital medications at no cost.
Sr. Okafor commended the foundation for its generosity and commitment to improving healthcare delivery, noting that the support would strengthen the hospital’s ability to meet the needs of patients, especially the less privileged and vulnerable members of society.
She further described the gesture as a reflection of compassion and corporate social responsibility, emphasizing that collaborations between healthcare institutions and philanthropic organizations play a crucial role in enhancing community wellbeing.
Presenting the donation on behalf of the foundation, the Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Chidinma Okoye, accompanied by members of her team, reaffirmed the organization’s dedication to promoting better health outcomes through impactful community-based interventions.
According to Mrs. Okoye, the donation reflects the shared commitment of both the foundation and the hospital to improving access to quality healthcare and fostering healthier communities.
