The Mayor of Idemili North Local Government Area (INLGA), Chief Stanley Nkwoka has flagged off a 0.563 Km John Nwadiobi Road, Enekwasumpu Obosi, Anambra State, saying that the road was going to be a pilot road project, the first Interlocked stone based road to be constructed in the South Eastern Nigeria.

According to Nkwoka, our Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo is doing marvelously well and I’m simply following his footsteps.

“There is no road our governor awarded which he did not complete. This John Nwadiobi Road will be completed in 10 weeks.

“I am assuring Obosi people that this is one out of the four roads we have slated to construct in Obosi. By next week we shall be flagging off a road at Abatete, then we get to Ideani, then to Attah Road, Nkpor and we come back for another road in Obosi.

“We know that majority vote is coming from Obosi but we don’t need to beg Obosi residents to vote for APGA come November 8, 2025. We have a duty to appreciate this gesture and other dividends of democracy you enjoy by voting APGA for continuity.

“From today we have 10 weeks to complete this road. The model we are doing here is the first of its kind in Anambra State and entire South Eastern Nigeria. A pilot road with kebs, Street lights, Interlocked Stone Based with drainages. It is not just a road for vehicles to ply but it will be a beauty to behold. It will save cost and it is durable.

“In two months and two weeks, His Excellency, Oluatuegwu will be here to commission this road,” said Nkwoka.

The Contractor, Mr. Odira Eze of A & Z Global Elegance Company flanked by Builder Chijioke Okeke said they have commenced work, saying that the construction company was committed to delivering the pilot project of 0.563 km John Nwadiobi Road within the 10 weeks as stipulated in the contract.
