The new Anambra state Head of Service, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno, Esq, mni has pledged to align with the developmental strides of His Excellency, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, in achieving a liveable and prosperous Anambra state.
Speaking during a Press Interview, Iwouno, esq gave a brief background of her over 29 years work experience in the Service which formed part of her convictions and determination to see the service prosper.
Having developed her leadership blueprint as Head of Service, we see a focused leader, motivated to entrench core policies, values and service culture expedient for a working Anambra service.
The new civil service boss, touched on key aspects of her transformational agenda for the service such as work force development and training, service digitalisation for expedite service delivery, public feedback system and complaint resolution, zero tolerance for laxity with a strong reward and reinforcement system to boost the morale of workers.
The foremost civil servant who has a Masters Degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University equally gave kudos to her predecessor for how she handled labour disputes while assuring that such transformational work would also be further undertaken by her to ensure that labour related matters are resolved promptly.
Thanking the governor who reposed faith in her since 2024 when he sent her to the Nigerian Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, the echelon Institute for Management, the immediate past Solicitor-General of Anambra State and now HOS, vowed on behalf of herself and other workers to remain committed to the implementation of policies and other governmental plans for the common good of Ndi Anambra.
“I will not rest until I see that the Civil Service has fully aligned with the agenda of the gyovernor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo,” she said.
She, then, called on every worker to sit up and join hands in whatever capacity they are serving in the Anambra Civil Service while reminding them that public servants are paid with the tax payers money and as such must serve with dignity and honour as servants.
Iwouno, Esq who is an alumni of the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus where she bagged her Law Degree before proceeding to Law school in Lagos assured the public that they would begin to experience more effective and efficient service delivery.
Happily Married to Prof. Jude Iwouno from Aguleri in Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State, the new HOS, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno, Esq frowns at sectionalism and bigotry but holds strongly on merit based system of reward in service having equally worked hard herself to be where she is today.
